IAAF World Championships - 100m Hurdles Recap

           Christina Manning took 5th place in the 100m hurdles event with her 12.74 result.  


Congratulations to Christina Manning on her impressive performance in the 100m hurdles event at the IAAF World Championships in London, England. 

During the opening round of competition, Christina Manning took the win in heat #5 with a time of 12.87 and she followed up this strong showing with a victory in heat #2 in the semi-finals with her 12.71 effort.  In Saturday's final, competing against the best 100m hurdlers in the world, Manning ran a 12.74 to place 5th overall. 

Manning, who competed for Ohio State University during her college career, owns the 100m hurdles team record for the Buckeyes from her 12.57 result that she posted at the 2012 Tom Jones Memorial Classic


           Christina Manning also owns the 100m hurdles team record for Westlake High School (MD).
